I took me stock air box off and i got carb filters on each carb. Connected all te fuel lines and now it wont start. My gas is turned on and i have tryed the choke. I think it may be the hose comeing from the top of the motor that ran threw my airbox and connected to another part of my engine. I can post picture later when u get home but does anyone know if thats the reason? Is there a trick to removing the airbox that i didnt do?

Yes, you forgot to re-jet the carbs. I'd put the air box back on until you find the proper jetting from some of these forums. Bob

Its a kz550 1983 and i put carb filters on. But now it wont start. I also cleaned the carbs. Do i have to re jet the carbs?
