What is the best gasket kit to use? was created by hoosierkaw83
I have a buddy who rebuilt him motor with vesrah gaskets.. oil leaks badly while running. Heard some people say that brand sucks.. anyone else have input?

Never had an Issue with Vesrah products. Oil leaks were probably from either surfaces not clean, or not flat.

Use Cometic Gaskets.

+1 on Cometic Gaskets. It all comes down to proper surface prep, gota put in the time and do right.

heck wireman probally cuts his gaskets from cereal boxes and coats it with copper spray gasket material. :woohoo: :woohoo: :laugh: No seriously i use the copper spray gasket maker on everything it works awsome.

Scrape clean with a razor blade edge. Clean with acetone. Don't use grinder or wire brush.

Ive had to cut a gasket or 2 in the past to get things done,gotta do what ya have to do! :woohoo:
