I need to get a new engine or work with a donor engine for my old Kz.
But i was wondering what engines are compatible with the 1978 650 kz frame.

Any KZ650 and KZ750 (4 cylinder) will bolt right in.

77kz650 had a 3 phase regulator and different flywheel than the other later models... Just keep that in mind. I swapped my 77 engine with a 78 and ran into this.
