No compression

I meticulously rebuilt the top end according to all specs and procedures but now only have compression of 55/75/60/50.
The head work was done by a highly reputable machine shop as well as the bore for the bran new 1075 wiesco 10.25/1 compression piston kit. My question is... Before the pistons are broke in/ completely seated/ is it typical to have low compression? The compression test was done with carbs off. (shouldn't matter right?) Any info on what this could be would be great. Any common mistakes I could have made? Thanks

Start with valve lash check and make sure the cams are timed correctly.

I am going to check the valves again via leak test and see what the heck is going on. Thanks again

The intake valve must open to suck in air which is thereafter compressed during the compression stroke while both valves are closed.
If the intake valve doesn't open, there's no air intake to be compressed.
Good Fortune!
