Tear drop cover mod how to was created by kzz1king
I sold a tear drop cover from a Z/KZ that I had done a cut out on. A few people showed interest so I thought I would pass on how it was done. I am a woodworker so I use a woodworking tools when I can.
1) Polish it up first. Will polish again when done but I think it is good to start with polished.
2) Pick out your design and print it out. Make sure that you are mot going to accidently drop out anything you don't want (ex. center of an A when you cut outside of A out)
3) Design can be cut out to see how you like on a piece of wood or paper mock up of cover.
4) Spray glue the design to the cover.
5) I use a scroll saw with metal cutting blades. I have used woodworking blades also. Use medium speed and hold material down firmly. Pilot holes have to be made to slip the blade. I also cover the piece with the clear, wide cellophane tape, it helps lubricate the blade.
5) A painted piece of tin can be placed behind the cutout, maybe even a light?
Hope this helps.

I really like the one with the holes. Would look great with the teardrop cut out in some manner.
