Hi, i just purchased a 1984 kz700 thats in great shape, today i removed the gas tank to get to the engine to inspect hoses, replace spark plugs, get to airfilter & just do a good going over on my new to me kz. Well i noticed an odd looking round thingy located inbetween carbs #1 & #2, it says tank on one part & carb i think on another, then at the back of the bike in the tail light area there is a box back there that has hoses running to it, one says vent & something else. Iv never seen any of this stuff on these bikes then i got thinking the kid i bought the bike from mentioned that he flew to california & bought this bike & rode it home here to ks. Is this old emission stuff pretty trouble free or is it something i can remove?
