charging system on a kz750ltd h1

ok i bought a used stator and rectifier for charing for my bike it all worked fine so now its not charging bat agian i bought a new bat from advance auto it worked fine but now low on fuild what else can i do with this bike getting real pssed about this lol

If your bike is putting out more than 14.5 volts at idle, the battery may be being overcharged, boiling out the fluid.

What is the used Regulator/ Rectifier, a 5 or 6 wire? If 6 what do you have the Brown wire hooked up to? If the 5, have you checked the voltage across the battery when running at 4K RPM?

its a 5 wire with the wht / red one by its self ow do i test mag and what do i look for on it

yes i checked it with volt meter and it goes up to 11.7 grrr

What does the 2 yellow wires from the Stator put out in AC volts?

i have 3 yellows its dark out now lol i cant see nothing what should the out put be and how i check it what they say to use on that link to test i dont have that on mine grrr

3 Yellow, ok thats the 3 phase. Any 2 of the three, should put out 56 ACV. This is at 4K RPM in the book, but you will get it at 1800 or so. If you have a really good OHM meter you can check the resistance , same any two of the three, should be.7 ohm.

i think i got it its pushing 12.8 at 4500 rpm at idale its at around 12.3 to 12 freaken stator wires got mangled some how now #2 carb pissing gas out of over flow grrr i think jet came lose again where that plastic cap is can i use something else instead of that plastic cap

if anybody got a set of carbs lying around for kz750ltd ill buy them from you

It should be 14v @ 4K RPM. You still have an issue, bad connection or 1 side of the 3 phase stator, hence the check for ACV on each 2 pair combo of the 3 yellows.
they sell new plastic Pilot Jet plugs, but I've see a post where someone found something else that fit. Maybe a search on Pilot Jet plug Plastic would get it.

ok went though whole charging system today ya i know its the 4th but i wanted to ride my bike i got up at 4:30 am lol started working on it at 5 30 lol brang coffee maker out side wife wasnt to happy lol but i got it charing i used coco cola it had bat acid in conntctions found yesterday that stator wires wher chewed up so i temp fixed them last night lol well today i made all new wires using same color code took a long time to find all my wires im a pack rat i take every thing and anything lolso about 430pm i finished it up fixed #2 carb it was the needle but number 4 still giving me probblems pours out of over flow when i stop so i ored carb kit from jc whitny for 25.00 with free shipping until july 5th thats a deao on any thing you order so i got to ride today it was great even though i smell like gas grrr but ill take back apart and redo every thing agian thhanks for all the advise you all gave me got to love this form
