I'm restoring a 1978 KZ1000A2 that has a bad engine head, bent valves. I just lucked out and bought a 1980 KZ1000B LTD parts bike with a good engine, but no carbs. Here are my questions:
1. Will the 1980 LTD engine bolt right into my 1978 A2 frame without any modifications needed?
2. Will the good carbs off my 1978 A2 engine work on the 1980 LTD engine?
If all this is yes, I plan on pulling the 1980 LTD engine out and installing it in my 1978 A2 frame.
