So this isn't some off the wall question. I have done quite a bit of research as to what it will take to boost my kz750. I have been building a megasquirt controlled boosted 78'280z but I'll be running a blow through carb setup on the bike simply for bang-4-buck. I have a couple turbos laying around my shop which are small enough to work on the bike. In fact, I have the t3 from the Zcar. I know these engines are pretty darn bullet proof but how much can I boost and still be reliable?

thanks for you thoughts,
Adam

EE= E2 = 81' Kz750. I understand that the gpz is a very capable boosted engine which I'm sure runs a lower CR than my NA 750. Of the information I've found it looks as if 3psi-ish is about max on these NA engines..... I know I could boost it upwards of 20psi for a couple seconds/mins/etc but destroying an engine isn't my goal.

why not install 750 turbo componets ? i would say on a stock KZ750 engine 8psi max on good pump gas i used to run 15psi on my 750 turbo with 93 octane gas but it was tuned well with race gas i ran it to 22psi but it would surge to 24psi till the waste gate opened.
