Well I got my motor back together, I have zero valve clearance, I have around 270 size shims so could somebody give me a starting point what size to start with, did a compression test had very little, so did leakdown and all valves are leaking in closed position.

No eBay APP ID and/or Cert ID defined in Kunena configurationYou can get a shim kit, depends on whether your time is more valuable.

Z1 also sells 20 piece shim sets.

www.z1enterprises.com/Valve-Shim-Kit--29mm-256.aspx

The 34 piece kit on top is a better deal.

I think the general rule is if you can spin the shim with your finger drop one size if not start with dropping to sizes.

"leakdown and all valves are leaking"...
With this in mind, with the others 250/255 to start with...

And don't even bother with spining the crank, just remove the camshafts and replacing ALL the shims.
Don't want to bend a valve....

Put some 200s in it and see how loose that makes it, then do the math.
