Can anyone ID this exhaust system? was created by richrand
It's off an old KZ1000. It has a reverse cone shaped baffle.

If exhaust exits on the left side, it might be a Denco system.

RC had a left side exit pipe too.
76 KZ, frame gusset work,1200CC.Ported by Larry Cavanaugh, 1.5mm.over intakes, Carron Pipe, ZRX12 rear end, and seat,96zx9 front end.
01 CBR600F4i Track bike.

I'm going to say it looks like a Bill Wirges pipe. They were left side exit pipes and IIRC they were sold through the Kawasaki accessory catalog.

with the small tubes and collector, it favors Denco. I'm thinking the meg was straighter after the collector on the Denco, I could be wrong.... :whistle:

Thanks for all the replies. The guy is asking $100 for it. I like the idea of a period correct aftermarket pipe for my 77. He says it's in good structural shape. However, just to check it out is a two hour drive.
