whats the odds of getting a decent compression reading off a kick start, just got bike back together and the way my mechanic'ens... been lately I dont want to have to put anything on that I am going to have to take back off. Less is more :dry:

Just hook electric starter to battery power and a ground to crank it over B)

Just kick it a few times until the needle stops rising. Should give accurate results.

My favorite wussie way :blush: is with all the plugs removed, where the tested cylinder is providing the only compression.
