ok so im planning on tearing down my 83 kz1100 to fix all the little oil leaks, and was wondering.... i really need some more power( not like a drag bike) and was wondering what kida cams / jet / pipe would be a good power mix with good streetability and cost effectiveness?

ive built up cars but never a bike. i kinda look at it like a 4 cylinder tuner engine, but still learning how to match parts and pick and choose.

any help would be awesome

Before you tear it all apart run a compression test and a leak down test to get a baseline of what you have to work with.
Big cams will do you little good with out of round bores or leaking valves :)
