How do I make a rotating magnet removal tool? was created by Roadflyer

What can i use / make to remove the rotating magnet on the left side of the crankshaft?
I have a starter clutch rebuild kit and need to remove the generator to get at the clutch. Thread size? reach?

A rear axle bolt and big ball bearing works on some of them

posting from deep under a non-descript barn in an undisclosed location southwest of Omaha.
