Please help, cam chain jumping on KZ1000 ST 79 was created by kz1100warrior
Hi Al, busy working on a 79 KZ1000 ST.
Pease find attached pictures. I set everything according to manual. As soon as i go and turn crank, just before the 360 turn it stops and jumps teeth on cam chain. I have got it lined up perfectly, 28th, mark. exhaust correct, cam sprocets correct. The pictures are in number order....please can someone tell me what i am doing wrong.

I would think the chain is off the crank sprocket. I have done that a couple of times. Roy
