Howdy,
My bike started making a strange noise recently. Situation as best I can relay it:
Noise happens at all times engine is running, in gear or not.
Sounds as though it's coming from the rotating assembly i.e. crank or cams, etc. after I got down on my knees and listened around.
Sounds like a "shhhh" sound, like the sound maracas make when you shake them, but constant and increases/decreases with RPM.
Bike runs pretty much normal as always. No knocks or tics.
It happened pretty suddenly.
Motor has been leaking oil pretty good, and I'm thinking maybe it got too low and I somehow ruined a crank bearing or something. But again, it fires and runs normal, no knock, no smoke, etc.
