Will cams from an 83-85 GPZ1100 fit in a 81 CSR 1000 and if so are they a drop in or are modifications needed. I was told they would provide a decent boost in power but not sure if I would need 81-82 gpz cams or if any early to mid 80's gpz would fit. I am running 34's with pods and a custom exhaust so would I get the benifits of a slightly larger cam or is head work required. I'm not concerned with the loss of the tach drive as I run an aftermarket gauge set up. Thanks for any help!

83/84 GPZ1100 cams are the ones you want. Drop in with a good pick up in power.
