No muffler, need to ID the header. was created by CrazyDuck
My dad bought the exhaust years ago for his '77 1000 LTD but never used it. I put it on mine for a laugh and now I want to keep it but straight pipes are way too loud to get away with anything fun :P It sure does sound good though!
I think it is a Kerker and the last little bit of pipe is removable though I have not found a way to get it off. I am not sure and would really like a confirmation on what it is and where I could possibly find just a muffler.

I'd love to hear what it sounds like on my dads bike as his is punched out to a 1200

Looks like a Kerker to me. Keep your eyes open on ebay, I've seen a bunch of megaphones for sale over the last few months.
Nice bike!!

Loosen the clamp on what's left of the slip on meg section and work with it to loosen the bond. They are a real mother for ya to get off sometimes. Kroil, PB Blaster, penetrating lube helps.
