Anyone running the black 4-1 mac exhaust on their KZ's?
Contemplating picking a set up. Wondering how they look and sound?
Post pics and give critical feedback if you can.

Thanks.

Exhaust was on the bike when I bought it in 03. Pic was taken April 2005 and the same exhaust is still on the bike today. Solid as a rock. Not to loud and I love the deep throaty growl.I'll try nd get a better pic tomorrow.

Funny but I had to go back to 05 to find a pic if the right side of the bike :)

Hey, I have a black mac canister exhaust. I love it. Had it for almost 2 years now. A few members on here have MAC systems. Before I ordered mine, I got some advice from OTAKAR. He said "When you pick your MAC pipe, make sure you know what performance you want. The canister pipe has a much broader power band than the megaphone pipe and is quite a bit quieter. The Megaphone has a throaty "droany" sound and the canister has a cleaner crisp "raspy" sound. At highway speeds for longer distances the megaphone gets annoying to ride."

I have a 2-1 on a 750 twin and it makes a nice, throaty sound. Performance is about like stock.

I usually use the header and get a canister off of some other bike.

I have a MAC for a back up. Never really liked it so I bought a Vance & Hines. I did the same as donthekawguy use the headpipe and change the canister. In my opinion the MAC canister is a hideous design. Just my opinion. It did run alright I just could not get past the aesthetics. Of course the Kerker or a Yoshi would top my list but I am satisfied with the V&H.

My 2 cents
