ya hi again and thank you help full but what im looking for .i just need to know how to remove the spark advance i dont want to break anything . small bolt bigger nut. need to take it out clean it .cant be working now rusted as bike has been sitting for 5 to 8 years. like i said just dont want break :S anything. :sick: thanks so much

Turn the 13mm bolt Not the 17mm

just losen the smaller 13mm bolt and remove it and the advancer will pull right off then i would pull it apart clean it up real good and grease it make sure it turns freely and retracts smoothly

It may slide off a little hard if it is rusted, I hade to gently stick a small flat blade screwdriver behind mine and pry it off.

pry what ,who, this,that,me you ????????????? do have an idea about what is suppose to happen .but dont have any pictures of what it looks like apart. my book dont show much. .came with bike would be mad if i had payed money for it, need factory manual

Where the read curved line is, the little stepped portion in the top right circle. You need to get something under that and pry gently.

Once its looened up form prying gently,that whole piece in the picture will pull off the bike, elfmagic17 is just telling you how to remove it if its frozen from sitting so long.

thanks guys needed all the info i could get . it is stuck and i dont want to break it :sick: been setting with oil on it hope it helps.i probably need a used one. hint hint :lol: well thats all for now thanks to all nobody
