Changing the oil and filter on my 1980 KZ440A for the first time.
Looking online at Z1 Enterprises, there are three options:
1) EMGO 10-20300
2) EMGO 10-37500
3) FRAM CH6012
Which should I choose?
Also, there is no dipstick on my bike, and the window that is supposed to display the oil level has no fluid in it. I used a flashlight and checked the window while the bike was centered and even tried moving it around a bit - still couldn't see anything. Is there any other way to check the oil level in the bike?

Is the oil Level window clean? Sometimes they can get pretty dirty/ hazy, and hard to see through. Plus clean oil would be harder to see than old oil. If you can't see it at all, it is ether very low, or to full. Do you have a service manual for your bike? It will tell you the amount for re-filling. But that is a guideline and not necessarily 100% correct.
Be careful with your choice of engine oil, as the newer car oils don't have the properties for the Wet Clutch or the Valve train of a bike. I use Delo 400 15-40w. Some use Shell Rotella. If you do a search, there are several threads on engine oils.

don't know about the filter number, but you need to have oil showing in the window between the lines. make sure it's on the center stand when you check. when adding oil, give it some time to settle before checking.
