How many O rings is it? Just the one at the pump/filter right?

I'm not sure, you would need to check the manual. Have you tested the oil pressure ?

I haven’t, I don’t really have any way or knowledge of how to. Any tips to do this easily?

If you can get hold of a gauge you should be able to remove the oil pressure switch and screw the gauge in it's place (like all tools the range is huge but entry level isn't expensive and very useful to have)

Ok so carb balancing etc may reduce the noise (backlash in primary drive etc) but it won't effect the light.
You say you have replaced the trans ?
Therefore I guess you have split the casings ?
Is it possible you have omitted an "O" ring on re-assembly ?
I would suggest before you dig too deep you carry out an oil pressure test with a gauge, if the pressure is low at idle it could be as simple as a lazy pressure relief valve or a partially blocked pick up
or the idle speed is too low.

If you are going to get an oil pressure gauge, be aware that automotive ones likely will do you no good. Your KZ has about 3psi at idle and most gauges do not read that low.
