Bassani Superbike Header for Z-1

what did u change to and did u notice any differance?

I had stock pipes on it when I bought my 80 ltd in 82 for 1 year, (still have them), then I bought a kerker, from 83 to 87, then I bought the bassani super bike pipe, and I loved it, great sound, & I thought the perfomance was better, and I liked the way it looked better,..I kept it on from 87 till 2010, when it did"nt look as nice as the rest of my bike, so I bought a vance & hines, it looks nice & sounds good...but for me...not as nice as a bassani, & I dont think it will last as long either...Here is a picture of each pipe... If you are interested in looking at the bassani pipe I can send you some pictures, just let me know...

Yeah, one just was open on ebay. I was the top bidder with 1 day left at $350. The owner pulled it out from under me and sold it locally for $600. He said they can go as high as $1200. Damn! I am attaching an old picture with my MKII in it with one on it.

was it in new condition, for that much money ????

Let me know what you are asking for it. I am not rich! LOL! If you charge too much you may have to throw in a Hawaii vacation! LOL!

looking for a ATP turbo front spyder header

turbo pipe, eh sorry the subject changed and I got mixed up.

Not sure you understand what a turbo header looks like, Don. It definitely doesn't look like that.

pretty sure that is what this is, the picture is from ebay and the rear pipe came off because It wasn't long enough for my kz750 ltd. no idea if it is for a 750 although that is what the ad said. I am hesitant about getting another piece of pipe bent because i din't know what they would want. also a 2.5" od baffle is hard to come across.

Don, look at the #4 downpipe and how it mates with the collector in the other guy's photo. Your pipe is more likely a MAC 4-1 Cannister exhaust or similar. Not a Bassani.

I'm curious, does the mac 4-1 go straight toward the back wheel?
