Not shifting from N to 2nd is normal when not moving, its not a problem, as for hard to get into 1st, idid you remove the clutch cable? if so check your manual and preform the clutch rod adjustment. Also make sure that your plug wires are on the corret cylinders that will cause it to not start just a thought.
