Have for many years used the mini rubber motor mounts to attach the mufflers on both Z1 and KZ900, which isolate the frame from exhaust system vibration.

The little rubber mounts have proved to be surprisingly durable.

It makes a very noticeable difference in reducing vibration felt by the rider.

The custom attachment brackets are very easy to fabricate, using a piece of strap metal.

Good Fortune! :)

This is the only picture that I have of the rear, it's attached to the rear footpeg mount. I did change that side footpeg to different year footpeg. So the passengers shoe would not hit the header.

Gotta do that on my bike too, as I get vibrations in my handlebars. What size rubber motormount would I ask for at the auto parts store?

No eBay APP ID and/or Cert ID defined in Kunena configurationWould think the Mac 4>2 would also fit LTD at exhaust ports in the normal manner, and require simple DIY brackets extending from the stock mount holes on each side to attach the mufflers.

 If interested:

Shame you are in the US as you could have had mine as i think mine has had LTD pipes put on it which are in exceptional condition and I'm going to change them as soon as i can afford to buy new pipes and headers to make it more KZ like
They are slightly different though to standard as the headers go in different directions (see pic)
