kz440 baffled exhaust tips

Hey everyone, i recently aquired a 1981 kz440-ltd. The PO cut off the mufflers so it has annoying straight pipes on it now that also do not provide enough back pressure. I am thinking about adding these to the end: www.jcwhitney.com/chrome-exhaust-tips-fo...wx?filterid=c10828j6 they appear to have baffles in them. Do you think they would be as effective as shorty mufflers? or at least close.

Thanks,
Alex

Yeah, the price kinda confused me as well, but the reviews are good and i would think that the reviews would state that the item is not the item pictured but who knows! I like the price because i want something to get me through a few months just to make sure the rest of the bike is going to last, if the rest is in good shape i want to get a mac 2-1 exhaust.

These are probably VW bug exhaust tips.
Might not fit over the KZ400 pipe without an adapter.
(Note the 13 /8 " size mentioned in the ad.
As I recall, they're like straight-through mini-glasspacs.

Most probably not this one

Must be the new Turbine Beetle, very powerful, but the engine stresses the poor car's frame to the limit!

yeah, i know its slightly smaller, i figured i would just get a reducer to make them work for the time being. I dont want to rejet until i get the mac system so the reducer might add enough restriction to maintain a decent fuel/air mix?
