Head swaps

Got a few issue with snapped and threaded exhaust stud bolts on my KZ and I was wondering if there is any alternative heads I could use if they,re not repairable as KZ parts are like rocking horse sh*t over here

I actually had the same problem before. I bought a bike that had been wrecked. One of the exhaust bolts was ripped out from the head, although it still ran. I brought the bike to a weld shop that could weld aluminum, and they just welded a new stud in. Eventually, I did replace the head properly, but the repair seemed to work fine. Just an idea.

Cheers dude
Was wondering about having that done too.Tried to build up around the stud with chemical metal but thats not too good a repair.Need to do the shims at some point soon anyway so it,ll be a good excuse to drop the lump out and get the frame powder-coated while I,m repairing the head:lol:
