from what I have been told, you have to use the 750 jugs and bore them to the 810, or get the sleeves pressed out of your 650 block, bore it to the 750 sleeve size, press in 750 sleeves, and then get it bored to the 810

Then press those out, press the 1100 ones in and bore to 73mm (904cc)...

810cc... 904... is there honestly THAT much of a difference?

bigger is better, but really?

It's a 10% gain in displacement. That's a pretty big difference. Moreso, a 904 is about a 30% gain in displacement, compared to a 20% gain with the 810 kit.

I would say that there is a noticable difference between a 650 with an 810 and a 650 with a 904.

Alrighty then... where do I get 1100 sleeves and pistons to fit. 810 would be kinda easy but 904 is interesting

904....that CANT be street-able, the aries 880 kit is right on the ragged edge isnt it? would there be ANY room for air flow between the 1-2 and 3-4 pistons?, this application would also need different con rods too right? Lorcan, have you done one of these heavy weight "middle weight" motors:woohoo: ?

Lorcan posted a picture of his custom 904 block on the old board, so I guess it's in the archives.

Well, ok, 904 is pushing your luck but the guy did ask for MAX bore and that's about the max! One of the guys on my site has a 904 GPz750 non-turbo as a road bike with some custom made pistons to suit the stock rods and I have a 904 billet block which was destined originally for a 650 but is going to end up on my street/road 750 turbo hopefully later this year with some custom rods. The billet block is probably no good for the road as it has very little finning but it is very strong and will lend support to the cases. There was talk of a 1000cc+ stroker using GPz900R rods too from an aussie member...must find out what happened to that

I got a question about doing an 810 kit. Would the crank and other rotating assemblies have to be rebalance to accomidate the higher displacement??
