I was trying to remove the clutch basket with a make shift tool and snapped one of the studs for the clutch springs off! Can these be put back on with JB weld? (I really don't think so!) Does anyone out there have a clutch hub (part# 13087-043)? They are all the same for the 650s and 750s.

Baldy I sent a u2u. The problem I have is I still need to get the old hub off. Now that I've broken S@#t, is there an easy way to do this? I probably should have come to the "PROS" to start with. The engine is out with the heads off so no compression to use.

I haven't personally done it,but some of the Members have...take a(if You have a spare)clutch plate, and weld a handle to it,to hold the basket while You loosen the hub nut.

If Im reading this right, your taking the big nut off the clutch right? I made a tool that bolts onto where the clutch springs go , has a handle that sticks out and has a hole in the middle for a socket to reach the nut. I used an impact gun and it came right off,(didnt have much luck with a regular ratchet, but I didnt try too long with it till I whipped out the impact)
good luck
good luck
