I need help! re: KZ1000J3

Can anyone tell me if a 1981-1982 GPZ1100 cylinder block will bolt-on to my 1983 KZ1000J? I have a chance to buy one and just wanted to make sure it will fit. I am using my stock cases and bottom end and the stock head off the J.
