Z1/KZ 900 owners - Fuel Mileage Poll

I get from 26 - 29 mpg. Stock engine except for APE valve guides and springs, Kerker 4-1, Dyna ignition, 26mm Mikuni's, Emgo pods, 14/35 gearing, Lester mag wheels (16" rear), oil cooler, rectifier/regulator combo upgrade.

All stock, except for Dyna Coils and Dyna Ignition. I ride mostly freeways (75mph), and my little peanut tank goes on reserve at 125 miles (like clockwork).
That's 3.5 gallons on the side stand, and that's 35.7 mpg.
I've always thought my mileage should be better, but she runs good, and my plugs are tan.

sorry, didnt mean to piss you off. I was just saying I enjoy the ride and that I dont worry about mileage.

Anyhow, I agree with the enjoyment part. I however, also use my bike as a daily commuter and with the price of light sweet crude going up up up, mileage is a concern for me.
I thought I'd start this post as a benchmark and maybe do a few things to my bike to move my numbers up a little.
