I need 1, 17mm x .315 wrist pin button! I lost 1. For a 77mm J model engine
Called Paul Gast's shop (local) and they did not have any at the moment.
Parts guy said they are back to using metal clips.

Are these Teflon? or Nylon? nylotron?
I could make one if I had the stock.

They are teflon... you can buy it by the inch at any good plastics place, usually spec'd in inch diameters... you can make one in a lathe in about 5 minutes.

I have homemade ones in my drag bike... no issues.

Marty,as posted you can make your own. I have a couple of 17mm. buttons that are .350 thick, easily shaved down to fit if you want them - let me know if interested and I'll pop them in mail. BTW, I hate circlips even if some people have changed back to them - nothing like crawling around the shop floor searching for a clip that got away.

If you want to make your own, I just bought some UHMW Polyethylene rod from McMaster Carr for $6.70. Used about an inch of it for a shock lowering spacer. They should have teflon too.
