So.......how hot IS too hot? Anyone have an idea as to "ideal" op temp? Anyone see a gauge of some sort anywhere??? OR......do I just think too much?????? Kawasaki Motorcycles...because cars lean th wrong way!

Whenever I'm going to be running the engine for more than just a few minutes I set up a box fan in front of the bike. I'd rather not take the chance if I can help it.

77KZ650 Offline User Posts: 1397 Thank you received: 7	Maybe you could go by an oil temp guage to check the temp, I think I read that VDO makes them, but I havent looked too hard yet 07 MDP Rookie of the Year 01 ZX-12R street/drag bike. 8.97 @155.7 pump gas, dot tires, no bars, no power adders. top speed in the 1/4: 161MPH

indykaw77 Topic Author Offline User Posts: 510 Thank you received: 4	No REAL concern on my part.....never experienced the signs of overheating (pre-ignition, power drop, etc). Just was wondering after that post I read, is all. Kawasaki Motorcycles...because cars lean th wrong way!
