After reading a post in carb forum re: synching......a reply was posted about having a fan blowing across the engine for cooling.
So.......how hot IS too hot? Anyone have an idea as to "ideal" op temp? Anyone see a gauge of some sort anywhere???
OR......do I just think too much?????? :S

Whenever I'm going to be running the engine for more than just a few minutes I set up a box fan in front of the bike. I'd rather not take the chance if I can help it.

Nates vintage bike axiom: Riding is the reward for time spent wrenching.
Murphys corollary: Wrenching is the result of time spent riding.

Maybe you could go by an oil temp guage to check the temp, I think I read that VDO makes them, but I havent looked too hard yet

No REAL concern on my part.....never experienced the signs of overheating (pre-ignition, power drop, etc).
Just was wondering after that post I read, is all.
