Marshall 4-1 exhaust (by Laser)

Does anyone have experience with the Marshall deeptone 4-1 exhaust systems? Great looking imo, but I have no idea about the quality and sound. The cost about $450, so it would be great to get some input on how they compare to Kerker, V&H, Mac, etc.

YES... very interesting and now I know what homologated means.....

The exhaust does look nice. I thought they only made amps.....
Take it from me cuz I found
If you leave it then somebody else is bound,
To find that treasure, that moment of pleasure,
When yours, it could have been.

Maybe that pipe in the picture is not for a KZ. I noticed the strange bends in the primarys as well. Looks like they are trying to get around something in between #3 and #4.

i would just be a little concerned that they were more interested in form than function.

But Mark, it's homologated. That must mean it's a race pipe, or...

Here's the technical info on the (K)Z1000 exhaust they offer. Looks like they have three different models:
Type Z1~, order# 56.400808 for the Z1 & (K)Z900
Type KZT00A, order# 56.400809 for the 77-80 (K)Z1000 A/MkII/H(injection).
Type KZT00E, order# 56.400812 for the 79-81 ST (Shaft) models
Type KZT00R, order# 56.400810 for the 81-83 J and R (ELR) models

Strangely, the last one is also for the Z1R, which should be quite different from the J model bikes.

So, no first hand experiences then?

looks wrong to me

...small tubing exiting heads compared to any Z pipe i have seen...the pipe pictured imo is for a modern ZX-7-9-

the muffler cap looks kinda industrial too.....the chrome looks healthy and that alone could make it worth the 450...

seems like any of the other small brand specialty pipes...

if it is for the MKII you have i bet a Kerker is worth waiting on...
