dan gurney cycle products

i got a 900 that has a dan gurney cycle products header. i am more of a car guy so this blows my mind cause i thought he mostly drove race cars. anybody know anything about this pipe? its seems like its rare, i been into kz's for many years. there is no other bike for me to ride!!

You mind snapping a few pics??? This is the first time I've heard Gurney and motorcycle in the same sentence!

I refurbished a '70 AAR for my high school senior project!!! To say I love that car is an incredible understatement!

Sounds to me you should take that thing off the bike and FRAME IT! very rare.

Dan Gurney did some work for Kawasaki back in the 75/76 era. He built Kawasaki the first police bikes. The Z1P and the KZ900C models.

does anyone know about his pipe? thats discusting.

i can hardly contain myself cause i got this out of a barn today for 60 bux. i had known about it a few years ago and finally made contact with the owner. another month and this thing was going to be scrapped. the motor is free and was running good back in 1984. its a 75 z1 f. not sure what is different on that from a 73 z1 or the value difference. any input is welcome. i have the carbs apart and soaking already. after finding some old kawi keys i had lying around i can't believe the inside of the gas tank is about perfect. tis a good day!!! i guess more pix of the header to come. i can't seem to load more than one at a time.

You can download "ifun veiwer" free, it worked for me, for awhile, old computer.
