anyone know the specs like hp and cam specs etc for a mark II MOTOR? i got to ride a 1260 and it was the smoothest and most powerful kz i ever rode.now my builder let me ride it he kinda rope a doped me!now i got to have one. i trust him i was just curious since this is going to cost me so much.i hear these motors are almost bulletproof so after i am done i want bragging rights. (where is that damm r6 now! ha-ha!)

they have kawasakis blanket rating of 93hp stock.they have a stronger crank and stiffer cases than older motors, any of these motors are pretty bulletproof though with a little bit of work.if you have a MKII motor go for it but you can build a real healthy 1260 out of any 900-1000 motor so dont let him set that big fish hook in your mouth(been there, done that!trust me!)goodluck, happy wrenching!

if its just for fun in the streets 120-130 HP is good enough, but he will need to gear it acordingly. i have a z1 that makes 125 rwhp , that i run around my area, i could'nt get anyone to race my turbo z's so i set this bike up with carbs, but what really helps me is i run 18front 47rear sprockets it tops out around 90mph but for street fun this thing is a blast,i can holeshot this bike pretty good with this gearing, its always funny to see the look on sum kids face at the next red light.
