Hey guys, A quick question. I am working on a 93 KZ1000 Police project, and wondering about using a standard valve cover. Will it fit? and work properly? It would be nice to get rid of the recirulation smog stuff (I assume this is what the hoses are for coming off the cover?) Here is the link if you havent seen it:

I'm new to the KZ's, and the more I tinker with this thing, the more excited I get.

wait a second i was thinking about mkII valvecover, not j-series valve cover! ooooopsies :(
j-series bolts through ends of cover, would probably leak with old style valve cover.

When you say "standard" valve cover do you mean a casting without the smog ports? If so,find a Canadian or Euro rocker cover as I think the US was the only country to have them - J,GPZ,Spectre will all work.
