Hey everybody , got a Q about

engine serial numbers . I have 2 what I think are 900 engines , 1st one is Z1E 122871 and I think from what I read it is a 1973 KZ900

The other serial number is Z2E 044689 can't seem to find any info on this 1 . Can someone point me in the right direction . Thanks ,Red

Wow! The Z2E one is from a pretty rare Kawasaki Z2. This was a 750 cc version of the Z1. Here's some info:

Oh yeah...I'm interested!

Scraped the corrosion off the 2nd one and it was a 1 under there . Was looking at the cc pad as well and it is 903 . Didn't think I would be that lucky to find something rare !
So this should be a KZ 900 as well ?

I had to wipe the drool off my keyboard when I first read you had a Z2 powerplant. But, since it turned out to be a Z1 motor, I have less angst. The second motor was originally in a 1974 Z1A.
