1075 head and pistons on eBay $413

i just spotted a 1075cc head with pistons on ebay. the buy it now was $413. wis great deal for someone who has the money, wish i did.

That wouldn't nearly as much of a problem as the .004" / .005" clearance. It is way beyond worn out.

That sounded like too much clearance to me as well. Personally, I would have stayed away just based on the different piston. I don't really want to know how that happened, but I'm guessing that it wasn't good.

Skirt, figured should be ok but the clearance.... Missed that one... :blush: :laugh:

Not questioning experience guys but more for my own learning curve/knowledge update....

If he's truly describing wall to piston clearances which I believe he is, at almost twice the serviceable specifications, how would this engine not smoke?

Wonder if he used a cylinder gauge pre or pro Ball Hone...

Or is it just the same old e-bay sales pitch.... :blink:
