This is 88, maybe 89. It's the center sprocket rocker arm head.
Need to know cylinder head nut torque. Guessing 18-20 ft lb.
Also need to know camshaft install procedure. It looke like
line up of EX and IN at 1-4 T just like KZ and J and lookng
at lobe progression it appears that valves will be behaving.
Some assurance would be...well...reassuring
I could also use the pin count between EX mark and IN mark
for a double check on phasing.
Summary:
cylinder head nut torque?
camshaft install summary?
Thanks,
-Duck

I'm only seeing 40-60 lb compression and suspect the intake cams may be off a tooth. Local library does not have manual. This is assembled from parts leftover from local guy who parted out some bikes and gave me the parts he couldn't sell. 84 head on 88 or 89 block.

What's your point there DW?
I mean if you knew, it wouldn't have been much more work to pass the info on. If you did't know then why answer at all?
I'm not spending $60 on an effing manual so I can swap a head from one free motor with a bad bottom eend to another free motor with a missing head.
I mean isn't the point of the forums to make a gathering place where guys who like to work on bikes can share what they know?

Bob-
Thanks! It helped a lot. I'm off by one on my chain pin count. Set at 42 instead of 41. Don't think it's enough to account for the low compression, but I haven't checked clearance and there was a fair amount of crud on the valves. Next rainy day I'll correct pin count , hook up carbs. If she runs, the valves shoudl clean themselves up.
My head nut torque guess was within the tolerance of the tools
Will let you know if she runs. If not, see the classifieds

Being off one tooth made a huge difference.
Compression is now 'adequate'!
Many thanks Bob_Z1!
Fixed some other stuff too. Might get it in the chassis in a week
or two. Too much other work to mess with bikes for a while.
