Jumps out of second gear

hey, i'm glad someone mentioned overshift bushings!!! i remember 30yrs ago when i had a z1 with 1170 kit after we took it to the drags a some,started jumping out of 2nd.. a fellow drag racer give me a brass overshift bushing!! cured all our problems..
for the life of me i can;t even remember exactly where it went??? another rider on here was having that 2nd gear problem.. i pm'd him about overshift bushing but couldn't remember any of the details!!
it was just a simple brass bushing a local machinist made. hopefully this can be tried before tearing into the transmission... hopefully somebody has the specs for the bushing!!

Thanks Vernon, will try the bushing before I split the cases.

It goes over the shift fork shaft under the trans cover and prevents the shift lever shaft arms from jumping the shift drum. Steel is better. If its jumping out on upshifts these really do help.
