Oy!
What should the screws for the alternator /dynamo / rotor cover be torqued to in ft/lbs? Can't find any reference at all in my Clymers.
Thanks in advance.

There was no spec in either my Clymers or the FSM. They just say use a non-permanent locking agent and tighten the bolts. Other 6mm bolts on the engine are spec'ed at 70 to 90 inch pounds if that gives you some idea. I would use blue Loc-Tite #242.

Its something like 6-10ft-lbs. Just tighten them by hand until they're snug. Doesn't need much force.

Thanks, gents. In all my bikes over the years, I've consistently found Clymers to be lacking. Someday I'll run down a Haynes book.
Again, thanks.
Again, thanks.

You'll probably find the Haynes to be lacking as well!
