kz 1100 stator was created by JMC
I was wondering if anyone could tell me if there is suppost to be oil inside the stator cover on an 82 kz1100 shaft drive. Any info would be very helpful. This is my first kz. Thanks.

Yep, it's in all of the bigger 4's as it acts like a lubrication for the over running starter clutch.
To minimize oil loss, lean the bike on the other side when working on the alternator or stator.
