Mine was the same way when I removed it to lube the advancer, but the one in my 82 kz1000m2 was a roll pin. I screwed a small sheet metal screw into the hole and pulled it out. It doesn't hold anything, just locates the advancer so if you can position the advance and torque the bolt it will stay there. If you can't work it loose and pull it you will have to drill it.[/quote
thats what I thought, my jap indie friend said other wise, I guess anyone can be wrong, its just there for alignment
