Z1r and 79 MkII exhaust

Does the Z1r and MkII use the same aftermarket exhaust, Kerker,V&h,Yosh,etc? I'm looking at a Repro Yoshimura pipe for my MkII that a guy makes for the Z1r. Will it fit? anyone know of other Yosh series I repops?

The exhaust pipes will fit, the cyclinder spacing is identical. What might differ is how the muffler attaches to the bike...that will be different between those two models. You might have to fabricate your own hanger.

Please post any info on Yoshimura reproduction pipes...the only ones I'm aware of are coming out of Japan and they are very pricey.
