cam chain guide was created by stonemaster
put a new cam chain guide in new block a couple of days ago. loctite wasnt applied to mounting screw,this isnt covered in the manual and I was told it wasnt necessary, before i go any further i wanna be sure, Opinions >?

I put my bike together without locktite in the camchain guide screw...the motor is back together and has run...I guess I'll be the guinea pig

i wouldnt sweat it....i hit mine with an impact screwdriver just to make sure it was seated well......the chain hits it in a downward motion..same direction as the screw.....
