air box boots for kz440

Anybody had any luck finding replacement boots that go between the airbox and the carbs for a 440? The ones on the bike now are pretty hard and it makes me nervous every time I take the carbs off, plus it makes taking the carbs off and then putting them back on a real hassle. I think there's a leak issue as well. Anyone have experience here? Thanks.

Have you tried the dealer? Best chance to find some that are really soft. They're not too bad either, price wise.

The diagrams at Kawasaki.com show that the part is Cancelled. However, you can try the dealer. Supposedly, they have a nationwide parts search now, so if a dealer somewhere has the ducts, you might be able to get them.

I looked at Z1Enterprises.com but didn't see any for your bike. Not sure if I referenced the correct 440 and I didn't look real hard.

I'll try the dealer. Z1 doesn't have them, and a couple of other places I found online had them listed, but later informed me they couldn't get them anymore. Thanks all.

Looks like those have been discontinued for some time now. Sounds like a fleabay thing good luck
