Anyone know what the part numbers or type are for pilot jets on the 1978 KZ 650's?
I replaced the mains some time ago (went with 117.5) and did not change the pilots. As a result, the thing runs like a pig when cold and choke time is very lengthy (if it'll stay running). I am thinking that I need to step up to a 17.5 pilot.
At any rate, I was just at a bike store, without the pilots in hand (I am at work), and the parts guy was totally clueless....and so was I.
I think that I remember the way they look, but the parts manual was not very clear in its description.
Thanks in advance.
P.S. I do have pods and pipe.
