Where to find J model engines

Thanks so much for the information. Since the donor bike already had some electrical gremlins I think I would just like to start over with new wiring and only what I need. The police bike has far more lights, sirens, etc. than I will ever need, I figure I do not need to add anything extra to complicate the project. I would appreciate any links that you have to the connectors and such.

They do have a $25 minimum order, but if you are building a complete harness, then that shouldn't be a problem to spend that much. I got my fuse box from them, and it was fast and easy. They will have a lot of what you need to build your new harness.

I stumbled onto this site a while back and ended up ordering a whole bunch of wire from them. Used it to rewire the 750, and still have plenty left over for the A1, and other projects. They sent me a catalog not too long ago, and it's probably about the size of my clymer for my 750...they have TONS of stuff!

Well as I thought there are lots of you out there that have completed wiring projects and I would like to thank those who have sent links and diagrams. When the donor bike arrives I will check to see what I can use from it and with a little luck some of the more expensive electrical parts will be in good shape. It was a running bike but had some electrical gremlin. With all the extra electrical stuff on the police bikes who knows what someone may have done to cause the gremlin.

Anyway just wanted to thanks those with all of the input.
