How the heck do I get these rocker arms out of the Ninja 600 cylinder head?
Don't have a manual and can't find one on line.
There are some caps on the ends with hex socket and inside of the socket, a smaller hex socket. Never seen anything quite like it.
Anyway, I'm up at my rented workshop and wanted to get this head moved over to my good engine that's missing the head. Have to clean it up first and want all the steel parts out before dissolving out the calcium in the water passages.

I'm suspecting the things are bonded in with some kind of cement that I can heat to soften. Just a bit pussled about the smaller hex socket.

I haven't dealt with the exact part that you're looking at, but I've encountered the hex within a hex in some high precision guitar parts: The smaller hex bolt is to lock the larger one.

1980 KZ750-H1 (slightly altered)
1987 KZ1000-P6 "Ponch"
1979 GS1000 "Dadzuki"

Thanks. Now I have to figure out how to engage the inner hex.
7/64 is too small. 3mm is too big. Argghhh.I'm gonna try heating and see if it's just some adhesive holding the holding in there.
